Happy Sunday 2nd grade crew families! What a wonderful full week of learning we have had all together! We continue to work on numeracy in math while exploring larger numbers to 100, as well as working on addition and subtraction word problems. In Science have been working on researching our Arctic animals as well as exploring hot and cold temperatures.

We are getting very excited to have our families come in next week and see some of the wonderful things they have been working on. Student Led Conferences are on Thursday and Friday next week. There is no school for students on Friday Match 10th.

In Physical Education this week learned a new game called Pillo Pollo. We practiced passing back and forth to each other in a controlled manor and we played a game called Pirates where we had to try and capture the ball from our classmates!!!

Our learning intentions this week were:

I can exhibit teamwork in a variety of physical activity contexts

I can participate in activities that require various levels of exertion and energy

I can participate in adventurous play
