Making Predictions Using Text Clues

 This week we continued to work on our skills at making predictions.  Before reading fictional text students viewed the text and picture clues given at the beginning of the text and throughout.  Students discussed their thoughts about the story and what possible events that could make sense given the clues.  Students then wrote a prediction using the word "because" to use evident to support their predictions.
