Hi Grade Two Families,

What a great week we had. On Friday, we had our Big Brave event! There were over 200 participants and over $70, 000 dollars raised! Wow! Way to go Andrew Sibbald School!

This week, we learned about collecting data and how to organize it into a bar graph.

Students also practiced subtraction strategies such as counting on. They played two games to practice this skill.

In Social Studies, students continued their journey through Nova Scotia. We virtually visited Hall's Harbour and The Bay of Fundy. Students pretended to go kayaking and whale watching!

I can construct graphs to represent data.

I can investigate strategies for subtraction.

I can express ideas and  information through a variety of written forms.

I can represent ideas inspired by a variety of experiences.
