Clay for Kids

This week we were so fortunate to work with the clay artist Miss Jennifer from Clay for kids.  Miss Jennifer talked to our children about the composition of clay, how it works as an art medium, the process that clay needs to undergo to go from greenware to bisque-ware, and gave us a demonstration of the potters wheel.  Miss Jennifer guided our students in creating a 3-D art piece of an arctic animal to support our work in Social Studies.
